What are you hours and locations? 10am - 9pm, Monday - Sunday

 Is ÜMI Dispensary a medical or recreational dispensary? ÜMI Dispensary offers a 30% discount to medical patients with a valid medical card, but we are a recreational dispensary.

Who can purchase recreational cannabis?Anyone with a valid 21+ government-issued photo ID can purchase recreational cannabis in Illinois. This includes out-of-state IDs, U.S. military ID Cards, or passports! Just make sure your ID is up to date and not expired. This ensures compliance with state law and federal law regarding adult use cannabis.

How much cannabis can I purchase? Illinois non-medical residents can purchase up to 30 grams of flower, 5 grams of concentrate, and 500mg THC for edibles and infused products per visit.

Out-of-State recreational customers can purchase up to 15 grams of flower, 2.5 grams of concentrate, and 250mg THC for edibles and infused products.

If you live in Illinois but still use an out-of-state ID, you will be able to purchase the out-of-state limit.

Illinois medical cannabis cardholders can purchase up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis (70.87g) every two weeks.

What's the difference between medical and recreational cannabis? Products are the same for medical patients and recreational consumers. The only difference between recreational and medical cannabis products is the tax amount. 

Medical cardholders pay a 2.25% pharmaceutical tax while recreational customers pay the following total tax rates in Chicago:

 

  • 26.25% on flower

  • 36.25% on edibles

  • 41.25% on cartridges and concentrates
     

Only Recreational cannabis is available at our Lincoln Park location.

What payment methods do you accept? Cash (we have ATMs), Debit Card, Jane Pay/Aeropay)

Where can I park at ÜMI Dispensary? There is limited street parking at ÜMI Dispensary along Wrightwood Ave. (free) and metered parking along Lincoln Ave.

Are international IDs valid for purchasing cannabis products?  We  welcome customers from around the world. For the smoothest experience, we recommend international visitors present a valid passport.

How does your ÜMI Outsiders' Rewards Program Work? As an ÜMI Outsider, you’ll earn rewards for getting lifted. Score up to 1 point for every pre-tax dollar ($1) you spend at ÜMI, double points on Outsiders’-only Peace, Trees, and ÜMI Days, and early access to exclusive events and sales when you reach Redwood status.

We have
 four (4) tiers of Rewards at ÜMI :

Tier 1 = 100 points = 5$ off (11$ minimum in cart)

Tier 2 = 200 points = 10$ off (21$ minimum in cart)

Tier 3 = 500 points = 25$ off (51$ minimum in cart)

Tier 4 = 1000 points = 50$ off (101$ minimum in cart)

What is for sale at ÜMI? We have a live menu and carry a range of the highest quality cannabis products available in Illinois, including dry flower, pre-rolled joints, edibles, vape pens, concentrates, topicals, sublinguals and accessories. If you don’t see your favorite item, check back later in the week to view our updated inventory!

Returns and Defective Products

Due to Illinois state law, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. However, if your experience with a product you purchased at ÜMI was less-than-stellar, fear not: our team's here to do all we can to make it right. 

1. Take a clear photo.

  • Include the product in its original packaging, if possible

  • Ensure the product label and any damage or defect is clearly visible

2. Write a short description.

  • ​Product name

  • Barcode 

  • Issue (tell us what happened: Is the product damaged, malfunctioning, or otherwise unsatisfactory?)

  • Customer Name and # 

  • Date of purchase

  • Receipt picture or #

3. E-mail us.

4. Sit tight!

Once we receive your email, our support team will:

  • Review your submission within 2–3 business days

  • Reach out with any follow-up questions

  • Determine whether a replacement, refund, or store credit is appropriate based on the issue and available documentation

⚠️ Please Note:

  • We cannot process requests without both a photo and a written description

  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of purchase

  • UMI Dispensary reserves the right to deny compensation if products have been used improperly or are outside of our return policy
